Callie Auman

Callie found her love for facilitation and the outdoors while working at a summer camp in southwest Colorado in 2009. While attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Callie applied to work for Team QUEST, UNCG’s challenge course facility, and decided to pursue experiential education as a career. From day one of training, she loved seeing how challenge course facilitation and experiential education could bring a group together. She is passionate about providing experiences and opportunities for others that can be a catalyst for change.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Callie took time off to enjoy the adventures of life, teach dance, and continue working at Team QUEST training new facilitators before attending Minnesota State University at Mankato (MSU) for graduate school, pursuing a master’s degree in Experiential Education. As a graduate assistant for the Adventure Education Program at MSU, Callie ran climbing competitions, facilitated for various groups, and continued training student facilitators. 

Callie has facilitated a vast variety of groups through many different organizations and uses each facilitation as a means of learning. She is excited to continue learning with Venture!
