The Venture staff were wonderful collaborators as we planned virtual activities to help facilitate ice breaker activities for my Learning Community course. My class thoroughly enjoyed both the activities as well as the debrief afterwards. The team worked to ensure that all students felt comfortable participating virtually and kept the activities moving so that the students remained engaged.
When my class stayed virtual, Callie quickly adjusted and came up with a virtual 'choose your own adventure-' like activity to help my students learn to work together to problem solve. I was so impressed with how in tune the Venture team was to the needs of my unique class and worked to find activities that worked well in a virtual setting. My students provided excellent feedback about their Venture experiences. I have included Venture in my class every semester for many years. I was a little worried about how the activities would translate to the virtual setting, and I could not have been more pleased with how it worked out this semester.
I am excited to continue to incorporate Venture into our class next semester! The Venture Team really brought their A game!

I really enjoyed the experiences we have had with Venture! From helping with our program with the current Passport students, to being involved with our Passport leaders who are currently at UNC Charlotte.
They really enjoyed the experiences they had and it was fun to be able to have them interact with each other in a different way! I believe they were able to interact with us as the Instructors, while getting a break from us. Yet, having a wonderful time getting to know more about their classmates, enhancing problem solving skills, teamwork, critical thinking, and developing their leadership skills.
